Already the fastest, most powerful child of Bentley’s long, 90-year manufacturing history, no one really thought that there was anything else left to modify in the Continental GT Ultrasports 702. After all, this vehicle was already badass enough, what with 621 HP of power. However, German tuning company Wheelsandmore though that they could still polish this supercar. With a little tweaks, they made new goodies for the Brit GT.
Wheelsandmore tinkered with the GT’s ECU so they were able to add a sports exhaust system to the vehicle. With this modification, the tuning company was able to generate not just 621 HP but a monstrous 702 HP and a toque of 650 pound-feet from the machine. The top speed of the Bentley was also raised by at least 5mph, or a grand speed of 209 miles per hour (336 km/h) when you’re really running for it.
Aside from the power boost, Wheelsandmore also modified the wheels. The Bentley now wears lightweight 21-inch three-piece allow wheels. These wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires. Wheelsandmore also coupled the vehicles new-found speed with powerful carbon-ceramic brakes. If you’re concerned about the aesthetic finish of the Bentley, don’t be. The new electronic lowering of the package adds the final touches.
Last February, RM Auctions announced that they are putting on sale a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO which was estimated to go for $16 to $20 million. Last week, the company reported that the car is finally going to a buyer.
According to report filed with The Sun, the buyer is Chris Evans, a British radio anchor who also previous wrote a check for $10 million for a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder in another RM auction. The latest purchase though of another 250 GTO cost him $18 million. The radio host had to sell three cars from his Ferrari collection to purchase the 1963 Ferrari which he plans on driving on the road.
