During a special Berlin car event, Volkswagen launched the prototype of the brand new fully-electric Polo Blue E Motion. It also made a roll call to its future lineup which is geared at sustainable mobility.
In 2013, Volkswagen is slated to begin the production of the Golf Blue E Motion. This vehicle is powered by a 115 horsepower electric motor, and will be launched together with its city-driving version. At the same time, VW will be launching the Lavida Blue E Motion sedan in China. The Lavida sedan concept was presented in Beijing last week.
According to earlier reports, the electric Lavida sedan is the first electric car wholly produced and designed in China. The details about the car are still hazy, but based solely on the photos released by the company, the interior and exterior details seem pretty clean and solid. The overall impact isn’t exactly wow-worthy yet, but the design details are not bad either. Maybe the CO2 emission figures of the vehicle will be more impressive.
